Every year we're asked countless times by Guests traveling by bus or train to arrange a day trip for them on Skye. What we normally find is that because the plans are being made at the last minute, their schedule is too tight to allow them to see any more than one or two of Skye's great sites.
As a result, we created special packages for BUS & TRAIN travellers which, while being flexible enough to suit everyone's own personal circumstances, will follow a plan something similar to this :
Day 1
Meet you at the train station at Kyle of Lochalsh, or the ferry terminal at Armadale, and drive you north to stay for two nights at our own Cuil Lodge B&B where our full Breakfast Service is included in the costs.
Day 2
An 8 hour day trip on the Isle of Skye with your own car and driver/guide.
Day 3
Your transfer from Cuil Lodge B&B to either Kyle of Lochalsh Railway Station or the Armadale Ferry Terminal.
Several Guests have extended the plan to three nights accommodation with two days trips. Some arrange to be met elsewhere, or dropped off at another location. Everything we do is flexible and arranged to our Guests' requirements. Nothing is impossible; indeed a few of these Packages have have lasted in excess of a week starting and finishing at Glasgow or Edinburgh International Airports, and including overnight stops at other locations on the way to/from Skye.
